Sandy AyalaSandbox Learning Tools is a special education technology consulting company. Lead Consultant Sandy Ayala, M.A. is an authority on the use of computer technology in the Special Education classroom. An educational technology trainer and an accomplished musician, she has brought her passion for music together with her devotion to making technology accessible to all students and those with special needs. She is a veteran not only in the classroom as a teacher and speech pathologist, but also at delivering inservice education to teachers and direct consultation to parents.

Currently a Special Education Doctoral student at University of California, Riverside, Sandy's research projects and interests include Universal Design for Learning, Response To Intervention (RTI), Assistive Technology, and Video Self Modeling.
